Why did you decide to study in Japan?

I decided to study in Japan to win the gold medal in the Olympics and return to Bolivia as a Taekwondo player.

How was your life in Japan?

Thanks to this scholarship, I could spend my time in Japan in comfort in terms of living.
I could really pursue my dreams thanks to the fact that I was able to join the NFSA! Thank you so much!
I am going to give you some advise as a former member. First, Japan is indeed an amazing place.
As you may have been interested in and longed for Japan from childhood, everything may look even more wonderful in the beginning. I was like that.
Japan is full of fun things including fashion, meals, games, and manga; however, I want you to remember why you came to Japan and prioritize things which will help you achieve your drearms.

Tell us about your past study or research.

In university, I worked on studies including Asian culture at the Department of Inernatioal Studies at the Fuculty of International Studies.
However, most of the time, I was training in the Taekwondo team.

Did your consciousness as a Nikkei change in any way through studying in Japan?

My awareness as a Nikkei has been strengthened.
I was very relieved to know that there are people like me all over the world and their success has always stimulated me.

Tell us about your plan after graduation.

I am now employed by a company as an athlete. Right now, I am advancing step by step to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics!
